  2. My answer, Jim, is all of the above. They all honor God. Okay, like Ben – my answer isn’t there. I can’t choose one over the other.

Picked Prayer, all of the other’s effectiveness, rely on our being right with God, and having him working in us, and that starts with the prayer.

  4. One choice, “worship the Father in spirit and in truth’ (John 4:23) is not listed. New to your blog and really appreciate all of the articles, especially on worship. According to the rest of John 4:23 “…for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.” When we study the word “worship” in Hebrew and Greek, we find it means the same, to bow down, prostrate oneself. However, most of the others honor Him and that is part of what worship is about. We worship Him for who He is and praise Him for what He’s done. Somewhere in our churchology, we’ve veered from the meaning. Communion would be my next choice because it is done, i “spirit and truth” if done according to the Word. Thanks again for your blog. I will check in time to time. Yahweh bless you. Shalom

    • Hi Robert!

Thanks for stopping in and commenting. Good observation about what was left out of the poll, but that was intentional. We were hoping to gain some insight into what worship activities people viewed as the most important part of their corporate worship gatherings.
